Cats-Giving your Cats a Bath-Make it Easy

Cats-Giving your Cats a Bath-Make it Easy

It is a fact that most cats do not like water--I know mine don't.
I found an easy way to give them their baths and not get scratched so much.
Get a good Flea soap, and have the sink already full of warm water.  Don't run the water while they are in the sink as this makes them nervous.  Before you start the bath, talk to your cat and give him or her some extra loving. Give the cat a good brushing to loosen any dirt or etc.  Cut the fingers out of some plastic gloves, the kind you wash dishes with, and gently put them on your cats feet. Suds the cat all over being gentle and talking what I call "BABY CAT TALK." Wrap the cat in a towel and put in fresh warm rinse water_you can do this in the tub or sink_I prefer the sink so I don't have to stoop over.  After the bath, dry the cat with a nice warm towel (you can heat it in the microwave) and use your flea comb to check for any fleas and etc., and then brush the cat gently. This bath time can be a very bonding time if you don't get upset with the cat and keep everything going at a steady speed.  Start the baths young if you have a kitten and they will be easier to bath.
Good luck
